The Mac app

UTC Time Looker performs conversions locally. This source version has no analytics SDK or network requests. It stores the last valid timestamp and the selected Unix unit in the app’s local preferences. It writes to your clipboard only when you choose Copy. Your system time zone is used for the local result.

This website

The converter runs in your browser. Its code does not send timestamps or feedback form entries to a server and does not add analytics cookies. The hosting provider may process connection information necessary to deliver and secure the website. If a private preview requires sign-in, that sign-in is managed by the hosting provider.

Feedback

Continuing to GitHub puts the report text into a GitHub draft URL. GitHub, your browser history and anyone you share that URL with may receive that text. Submitting an issue makes it public. Private email is processed by the email providers involved. Send only information needed to reproduce the problem.
